First week back and we did a lot!
Garden to Table and heaps of cross country training kept us very busy this week. Don't forget to check the calendar for Garden to Table times as they are a bit funny this term.
In Maths we are investigating 3D and 2D shapes.
Cross country is in Week 3. Keep up the training!

End of Term Two

We have had a fantastic and very busy week. Many of the students planned and taught lessons this week and I was very impressed with their ideas and organisation. We had our dance performance (see the video below) and garden to table too.
Please read the below notes about next term.

I would like to thank Room 34 students for a fantastic term. I hope that everyone has a great holiday. I will be lying on a beach in Rarotonga reading book after book and hopefully doing some great diving too!

***Mathletics issues

Last week several students had issues with some time activities on Mathletics. After investigation it turns out that some activities will only work when Chrome is used as a server.

Next term

ART
Next term we will have a big focus on art and Mrs C would like lots of bits and bobs! Can you please look around the house during the holidays for things we could use in mixed media art. This is art that uses lots of different things and techniques to create a piece of art, including things like paint and paper.

This might include old sewing things like scraps of lace or fabric (old lace curtains are great for printing with!), interesting trim, colourful wool or embroidery thread, buttons, zips or beads. Other things we could use are interesting papers, old books, maps or music sheets that can be cut up, stamps, wrapping paper or shells that could be sewn on.

You may think of other things we could use as well. Please have a look around at home and ask Nana too!

CROSS COUNTRY
Cross country is on Wednesday Week 3 so student really need to keep up their training during the holidays to be able to do their best on the day.

Time videos

Hi,

Have you noticed the new pages popping up in the pages bar to the right?
On these pages you can check out some of our work. Yesterday we made videos to share our knowledge about time and clocks. Check them out under "Time videos"!
