Circles and Squares
We are looking at different ways to subtract when the number you are subtracting has larger digits in it. E.g. 23-17. Look at all of the ways the squares thought of to solve this problem.Triangles
We are learning to subtract by splitting a number into parts and going to a tidy number.E.g. 13-5 as 13-3=10, 10-2=8
To be good at this we need to be really good at our number bonds to ten and basic facts to 10.
