Place Value

In our ikan Maths knowledge test we came out weakest at place value so we are going to be doing lots of practise!

What is Place Value?

Place value is the value of where a digit is in a number.

Finding a number's place value: When finding the place value of a particular number, it helps to write out exactly what the number means. Listen as it is explained in this video by Khan Academy.

    that is some usefull information know I think I have mastered it. Mabey you could show some quicker ways to do it so we can do it in the ican test

    That was really good as it explained it really clearly and had the problem written out.

    I do Khan academy at home so I can look at that at home!

    I'm glad that the video is useful Zara and Eve! I think that these videos are a really good way to learn new skills. I don't know much about Khan academy Eve, I would be interested to hear what you do on it!
